Calhoun County won the team bracket at USC's seven on seven camp Saturday and quarterback Shamier Jeffery apparently was very impressive. So much so that according to a source, USC told Jeffery he would get a shot at quarterback with them. Jeffery also is considered a prospect as a receiver and defensive back.
The Saints won all their games against the non-all star teams in the camp, and even beat the New Jersey all star team led by Damiere Byrd. There were also all star teams at the camp from Maryland and Pennsylvania. Each of those all star teams included players being recruited by the Gamecocks.
Jeffery will continue with camp stops over the next few weeks. He will go to Clemson, West Virginia and Kentucky over the next few weeks.
