LB Cedrick Cooper (6-2 204) of Lithonia, GA was at Georgia's camp this weekend and had a great time. "It went real good," said Cooper. "It was intense. We went from 8:00 in the morning until about 7:00 at night." He also has camped at Ole Miss.
In between, he was able to visit both Clemson and USC. "I liked South Carolina a lot," he said. "First of all, they've got a real nice campus. When I saw the weight room, I was like 'wow'. I like the coaches too. They were real cool."
He also had a high opinion of Clemson. "Their campus is real traditional," said Cooper of Clemson. "Coach (Chris) Rumph gave me the tour. I got to meet a lot of the coaches and players. What I noticed is that the players are real happy where they're at. They don't seem to ever complain."
His offers are from USC, Clemson, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Minnesota, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia Southern, and Middle Tennessee. He will visit Tennessee tomorrow and hopes to visit Ohio State and Minnesota before the summer is out.
He no longer has a top five and says he likes all of the schools recruiting him. "Every school has something nice to offer," he said. "I'm just enjoying the recruiting process."
