Escorted by a vocal crowd of between 100 and 200 pom-pom waving fans, the USC baseball team boarded a charter bus this morning and hit the highway for Omaha.
The team streamed out of Carolina Stadium to cheers and boarded the bus as Coach Ray Tanner made a speech.

USC (48-15) faces Oklahoma (49-16) in its first game, at 2 p.m. Sunday in Rosenblatt Stadium, Omaha.
