A measure requiring lawmakers to grade new Republican Gov. Nikki Haley has been dropped.
Its sponsor, state Rep. John King, D-York, removed the proposal without comment during House members' budget debate Tuesday.
Haley has said she would grade lawmakers at the end of the legislative session on whether they back her priorities, including on-the-record voting by lawmakers, income disclosure by lawmakers and government restructuring.
