The parents of Dail Dinwiddie are hoping a new photo may help in the search for their daughter, who went missing in Columbia 20 years ago this September.
In a joint news conference on Monday, Dinwiddie’s parents and members of local law enforcement will reveal an “age progression” photo of what Dinwiddie might look like today.
Dinwiddie disappeared Sept. 24, 1992, hours after attending a U2 concert at USC’s Williams-Brice Stadium with friends. After the concert, the group went to a popular night spot in Five Points, where the then-23-year-old was last seen around 1:30 a.m.
Monday’s 2 p.m. news conference will be held at Columbia Police Headquarters, at No. 1 Justice Square by Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott and SLED Chief Mark Keel.
Law enforcement continues to ask for the public’s assistance with information on Dinwiddie’s whereabouts.
