According to reports from the accident, Stanton was transported to a hospital for minor injuries, treated and released.
The collision killed comedian James McNair, who performed under the name Jimmy Mack, and left Morgan with a broken leg, a broken nose and broken ribs, according to his publicist. Morgan’s friend Jeffrey Millea and comedian Ardie Fuqua Jr. also were critically injured when the comedy team’s limo was hit by a truck.
The driver of the truck, Kevin Roper, 35, faces charges including death by auto and four counts of assault by auto, according to the Middlesex County (N.J.) Prosecutor’s Office said.
