Don't know what to do with the used cooking oil from your Thanksgiving prep? You can recycle used fryer oil at the following locations:
All Carolina Wings locations in South Carolina. Carolina Wings and Coastal BioDiesel will collect used oil on Friday only. Call Don McLemore at (803) 600-1462.
Midlands BioFuels in Fairfield County. Bring used fryer oil to any Fairfield County Recycling Center or the Midlands BioFuels Shop on Main Street in Winnsboro. The festival includes a parade, hawg-calling and strut contests, crafts, a beauty contest and, of course, chitlins (fried pig intestines).
