Ronald McDonald House Charities turns 30
May 18 marks the 30th year that Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia has been serving the Midlands by providing a “home away from home” for families while children undergo treatment or spend lengthy stays at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. The RMHC provides home-cooked meals, a support system and the chance to be near their child, regardless of their ability to pay.
Celebrate by donating items from the RMHC wish list: individual snack items, coffee, creamer, sugar, plastic dining utensils, paper plates, fresh fruit and vegetables, dishwashing liquid and paper towels.
Plan now to be a part of RMHC’s A Fine Affair: Colored with Care Fundraiser, scheduled for Sept. 26 at DoubleTree by Hilton. Organizers are now accepting sponsorships, silent auction items and featured restaurant applications. Visit www.rmhcofcolumbia.org for details.
