Q: When did you know your fiance was “the one”?
A: On my 22nd birthday (New Year’s Eve), we celebrated in Columbia with friends, and while the clock struck midnight and the fireworks started, I told him I loved him and just remember the way he looked at me and hoped he look at me like that forever.
Q: Tell us about the proposal.
A: We were headed to the Blues Festival three years after we met, and we stopped in front of the clock tower in Camden. He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him.
