Tip leads to arrest in clerk's robbery, stabbing

A CrimeStoppers tip led to the arrest Wednesday of a man in connection with a robbery and stabbing of a store clerk in Columbia last month.

James Randolph Jr., 24, is charged with attempted armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill in the Oct. 31 incident at a Columbia area video store, the Richland County Sheriff's Department said.
