Achievement gap expert to visit USC

A nationally recognized expert in the education achievement gap will visit USC next week.

David Lee Keiser, director of Montclair State University’s Office of the Agenda for Education in a Democracy, will open a symposium titled “Overcoming the Achievement Gap: Improving Educational Opportunities for South Carolina Children,” at 4:30 p.m. April 16 in the law school auditorium.

At 2:30 p.m. the next day, Keiser will discuss his work and research in an informal, open-ended discussion in the Museum of Education, Wardlaw building, room 124.
