76 TROMBONES? NOT QUITE, BUT ... STRIKE UP THE BAND

“Music Replay,” sponsored by Batesburg-Leesville High School and its band boosters, collected 82 used musical instruments that were refurbished for students at J.V. Martin Junior High School in Dillon:

8 alto saxophones

1 baritone tuba

25 clarinets

3 cornets

4 drum kits

12 flutes

3 French horns

2 tenor saxophones

11 trombones

11 trumpets

1 xylophone

1 bass drum
