LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF

Sunset Boulevard, 4000 block: A woman called police Wednesday to report that a clerk at a convenience store threatened her and cursed at her. The woman told officers she frequents the store and the clerk is always rude to her. On Wednesday, she went inside the station, paid for her gas and went outside to fill up her car. She said the clerk came outside and yelled profanities and threatened her in front of other customers. The victim requested that a report be filed to document the ongoing issue.

RICHLAND COUNTY SHERIFF

University Club Parkway, 700 block: Police were called to a movie store Wednesday after a man tried to steal DVDs. The store manager noticed a man trying to leave with movies he had not paid for. While the manager was calling police, the man pushed his way through store employees, got into a car and left the scene.

FOREST ACRESPOLICE

Ponte Vedra Drive, 100 block: A woman came to police headquarters Tuesday to report that someone had stolen her dead father’s vehicle. A woman had expressed interest in buying the SUV, but no money had been exchanged for the vehicle. Later, someone called a locksmith to the victim’s home, had a key made and drove away. It was found wrecked it a short time later. The $10,000 SUV was recovered with $3,000 damage.
