21-year-killed in Lexington County crash

Twenty-one-year-old Jason Daniel Fowler was killed early Saturday morning when his car struck a tree on Caulks Ferry Road in Gilbert, according to the Lexington County Coroner's Office and the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Fowler, of Lexington, was alone in the 2004 Chevy Cavalier two-door when the accident occurred shortly after midnight, the Highway Patrol said.

According to Lexington County Corner Harry Harman, Fowler died at the scene from injuries received in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
