Eastover | Fire destroys home

Two people were displaced Friday by a fire that destroyed a home and several acres of woods on Mid East Road in Eastover, Columbia Deputy Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins said.

The 2:30 p.m. blaze, which started in a dryer, caused $150,000 damage, Jenkins said.
