Why I am running: I am seeking the city council seat of District 5 because it is in need of progressive change. I will be the voice that bridges the disconnect between the community and city government. The youth are in need of positive support. I will advocate more youth programs and activities in this community. I will also promote the needs of senior citizens through programs of enrichment.

Why I am running: The mayor and council members would like to continue to move forward with the implementation of innovative programs and the upgrading of our utility infrastructure. In 2008, City Council focused its efforts primarily on four areas: citywide beautification, development of a site at State and Meeting streets, increased code enforcement and renovation and expansion of water and sewer systems. I would like to continue my commitment to the productivity and economic growth and development of West Columbia and Lexington County, supporting programs and opportunities that provide a high quality of life.
