At Goose Creek, Summerville quarterback Donny McElveen was 6-for-15 for 209 yards and one touchdown. Deangelo Henderson finished with 96 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries for Summerville (1-0).

Donta Brown passed for 168 yards and rushed for 63 for Goose Creek (0-2).

North Augusta 21, South Aiken 0

At South Aiken, Tidy Johnson rushed 23 for 132, and one touchdown. Travis Murphy had 10 carries for 30 yards, while Lorenzo Hammond had seven carries for 23 yards. In passing, Murphy was nine of 13 for 119 yards and one touchdown. Lorenzo Hammond was two of six for 73 yards in passing.

Datrell Dixon two catches for 53 yards. Darrius Coleman had two catches for 35 yards. Matt Hazel had six catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. North Augusta advances to 2-0 and will travel to Strom Thurmond next week.
