At Demons Stadium in Lugoff, quarterback Forrest Koumas was 6-of-8 passing for 162 yards with two touchdowns in leading ninth-ranked Lugoff-Elgin (4-1) past the winless Bearcats (0-5). Koumas also had six carries for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Julian Baxter had an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Baxter also had two carries for 40 yards and two touchdowns, plus two receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Baxter ran back an interception for 27 yards.
Darius Custard had two receptions for 83 yards for the Bearcats.

At Monetta, C.A. Johnson rallied for the win as Kendale Wilson’s 20-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference.
The Green Hornets (4-1, 2-0 in Region 4-A) trailed 14-0 at halftime. Jonathon Goodman completed 15 of 30 passes for 171 yards for C.A. Johnson. Running back Willie Harris rushed for 78 yards on 11 carries.

Midland Valley 14, Batesburg-Leesville 8
At Graniteville, Midland Valley’s Jeremy Robinson ran for 178 yards and two touchdowns as the Mustangs ended a five-game losing streak against Batesburg-Leesville.
The Panthers (3-2) had 265 yards of offense, but did not reach the end zone until the fourth quarter. Batesburg-Leesville also had a touchdown called back due to a holding penalty.
