SCISA Roundup: Wilson Hall downs Cardinal Newman

At Columbia, Wilson Hall’s Ricky Crum had six carries for 99 yards and a touchdown. Cardinal Newman’s Michael Bolchoz lead the team with 12 tackles.

Wilson Hall, which came into the game ranked third in SCISA Class 3A, improved to3-0 and travels to Hammond next week. Cardinal Newman (1-1) travels to Bishop England.

Blake Stengel completed 10 of 18 passes for 189 yards and Zach Robertson had three catches for 84 yards for the Generals, who plays host to Pee Dee next week.

Brandon Gardner ran 17 times for 132 yards and Steven Laney gained 96 on 10 carries for the Cavaliers.Robert E. Lee had 422 rushing yards. The Cavaliers (1-1) play host to Laurence Manning next week.
