Three games to watch

Week 8

Lexington at Irmo, Friday 7:30 p.m.

The annual Battle to The Dam has a little more meaning this year. Lexington is 6-1 overall and 3-0 in Region 5-4A. Irmo is 4-3, 2-1 and a loss could be costly.

Byrnes at Dorman, Oct. 24, 7:30 p.m.

Byrnes is the No. 1 team in the state and the nation. Dorman is 7-0 and ranked third in the state.

Hammond at Heathwood Hall, Oct. 24, 7:30 p.m.

One of the biggest rivalries in SCISA and the top seed in the region could be on the line.

PLAYOFF SCHEDULE

Nov. 7: First round for SCISA and Class 3A, 2A and A.

Nov. 14 First round for Class 4A.

Nov. 21: SCISA Football Championships

Nov. 28: Class A Championships at S.C. State

Dec. 5-6: Weekend of Champions, at Clemson University
