Northeast youths hit the hardwood

The small and tenacious and can be seen on Saturday morning doing their thing.

Girls basketball players age 6 to 15 are in action every Saturday from December to February at North Springs and Polo Road Parks. They compete in the Northeast Youth Basketball League.

The NYBL's number-one goal has been to teach youth the proper fundamentals of basketball and teamwork. Each year, the league has a diverse group of youth from a range of backgrounds participating in the league throughout Richland County and the surrounding areas.
