Hammond quarterback Dave Nidiffer threw for 319 yards and six touchdowns.

His top target was senior wide receiver Aaron Walters, who caught six passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns.

The Skyhawks (8-0) meet Heathwood Hall (8-0) on Friday night.

At Florence, Lee Schurlknight tossed a touchdown pass, ran for the game-winning 2-point conversion and intercepted a pass in the final minute to help Byrnes School (6-2).

Schurlknight completed 17 of 29 passes for 316 yards with four touchdowns. His final scoring pass went 6 yards to Barrett Goodson with 55 seconds to play.

At Ben Lippen, Corey Jackson-Patrick led the Falcons with 13 carries for 55 yards and two touchdowns. Will Roseborough had seven receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns.

Ben Lippen quarterback Joey Carter was 15-of-24 for 228 yards and two touchdowns.

Zack Perry had nine tackles and three sacks for the Falcons. Taylor Wilson had eight tackles, and Tuck Benefield had seven tackles and one sack.

Rodriguez led Christ School with five carries for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Cabbil had 15 carries for 81 yards and one touchdown.

Ben Lippen (7-2) travels to Cardinal Newman next week.
