The Carpenter's Pencil
Drama
Set in northern Spain just before the outbreak of the Civil War in 1936. Daniel is a young Republican doctor pulled away from his finace, Marisa, when arrested for his left-wing beliefs. Marisa's father, Benito, tries to get her to marry a nationalist soldier instead, but she vows to remain fatihful to Daniel and fight for his freedom.
