BOUNTY OF BLYTHEWOOD: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, on the lawn of the Hoffman House (Town Hall), Blythewood. Event will feature a Taste of Blythewood, local farmers market vendors, crafts, bands, Iron Chef competition, barbecue cook-off and a "can-struction" contest (canned food items used in construction will be donated to the needy). The town's Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 in front of town hall. Guest performances by the USC New Horizon Band, string ensemble from Blythewood High School and singing groups from Trinity United Methodist, Bethel Baptist and Sandy Level Baptist.
