A candidate in the S.C. Democratic primary earns delegates based on the share of statewide votes they earn and the share of votes the candidate earns in the state’s six congressional districts. There were 45 delegates up for grabs Saturday. The state will award a total of 54 delegates at the Democratic National Convention. Here is how the delegate count broke down for S.C. and the total delegate count so far.
