After Friday’s loss, scenarios under which USC makes the eight-team SEC tournament:

• If the Gamecocks win the final two games of the series, and the Kentucky-Mississippi series has no rainouts. (The loser of that series will either be tied or behind USC, and the Gamecocks own the tiebreaker.)

• If the Gamecocks win one of the final two games, they need one of the following teams to lose today and Saturday: Mississippi, Alabama or Arkansas. (Alabama will play three games after its opener against Georgia was postponed.)
