Kara Addy has joined Children’s Trust of South Carolina as chief communications officer. Addy previously worked with Colonial Life in Columbia as assistant vice president of branding and communications. In addition to serving on the executive committee of the board of directors for United Way of the Midlands, she also serves on the S.C. State Museum Foundation board and is community service chairwoman for Pack 2011 of the Boy Scouts of America’s Indian Waters Council.
