South Carolina’s nationally low gas price average dropped 11 cents a gallon in 2013, according to data collected by AAA.
But Palmetto State drivers paid 64 cents more a gallon last year than in 2010.
Lowcountry motorists shelled out the most at the pump in 2013, while Upstate commuters paid the least for fill-ups, AAA found.
