Bourbon celebrates Main Street grand opening

Bourbon, a new Cajun and Creole restaurant and bar at 1214 Main St., held its grand opening Monday night. Midlands chef Kristian Niemi, at left, started a Facebook page for the restaurant more than a year ago and has been tantalizing consumers with divine-looking bourbon concoctions and photos updating his progress on renovations to the space in the historic Brennen Building. The restaurant – along a rapidly redeveloping Main Street – held a soft opening last week and will be open starting today for lunch and dinner.
