Palmetto Health Foundation Public Relations has been honored with Mercury and Silver Wing Awards by the South Carolina Chapter of Public Relations Society of America.


Columbia’s Adams Eaddy & Associates has been named one of Auto-Owners Insurance’s top 10 growth agencies in South Carolina for 2013.


W. Beau Busch, C. Daniel Vega and W. Hugh McAngus Jr. have been named partners at Columbia-based Chappell Smith & Arden.

Mary Geiger Lewis, U.S. District Judge for South Carolina, has received Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women’s Carolyn Helman Lichtenberg Crest Award in honor of her professional achievements.


PASOs of the Midlands volunteers (Promotores) were honored with the South Carolina Hospital Association’s Lewis W. Blackman Patient Advocate Award.


Columbia native Emma McWilliams’ one-woman show has been accepted into the New York International Fringe Festival.
