Sen. John Courson, KeenanSuggs senior vice president and commercial insurance broker, has been named the 2012 Public Servant of the Year by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. A University of South Carolina graduate and President Pro Tempore of the South Carolina Senate, Courson has more than 36 years of insurance experience. The Public Servant of the Year award recognizes an individual who has served as a key official in state government and contributed to the overall well-being and health of the state.
