Chernoff Newman, a full-service advertising, public relations and marketing communications firm in Columbia, has won seven silver awards at the American Advertising Federation’s 2013 ADDY Awards.


Luke McCary has been hired as project architect for Columbia’s Lambert Architecture + Construction Services, which specializes in K-12 school design.


Emily Schultz, a client service manager at the Armstrong Wealth Management Group in Florence, has successfully completed the Registered Paraplanner professional designation program.


Palmetto Health Physician Practices’ Lakeview Family Medicine, Twelve Mile Creek Family Medicine and Midlands Internal Medicine have achieved Level 2 Recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.


South Carolina Women Lawyers Association has installed the new officers for 2013 including Cynthia Hall Ouzts, president; Tara D. Shurling, president-elect; Kelly McPherson Jolley, secretary; and Marguerite S. Willis, treasurer.


Advanced Technology Services Inc. has been recognized by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce for its superior safety record in 2012. ATS recorded zero safety incidents at seven sites within South Carolina.
