A Hampton Inn & Suites, three restaurants and three additional businesses will soon move into the Killian’s Crossing shopping center on Killian Road at I-77 in northeast Columbia.
Firehouse Subs, Salsaritas, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Supercuts, Posh Nail Spa and Pacific Dental have all signed leases in the center, according to Colliers International.
Hampton Inn & Suites is the first major construction project announced at Killian’s Crossing since the Kroger Marketplace, which opened in July 2016. The new hotel, expected to open in July, will offer 108 rooms and will be developed by SpringBridge Development LLC and managed by Raines Hospitality Inc., both based in Florence.
“We are very excited for the dynamic growth and development of this area, and we can’t wait be an intricate part of this team,” said Grey Raines, president of Raines Hospitality. “We feel that there’s strong opportunity to capitalize our investment and to impact the market.”
Firehouse Subs, Posh Nail Spa, Salsaritas, Tropical Smoothie, Supercuts and Pacific Dental have all claimed inline shop space in the center ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet. They join other businesses such as Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Applebee’s, Hardee’s and Freddy’s Steakburger.
Killian’s Crossing offers “a prime opportunity in a rapidly growing part of Columbia and with every commitment, the community excitement grows,” said Craig Waites, a vice president of Colliers International South Carolina.
The center offers 400 acres of retail, residential and commercial space. Plans for the shopping center include major national retailers, boutiques, restaurants, apartments and a movie theater.
