A Lake Carolina home is considered to be a total loss after an early morning fire, according to the Columbia Fire Department.
Units, who arrived to the house on Darlington Oak Court about 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning, said the home was fully involved and threatening neighboring homes.
“Additional units were dispatched to assist in fire operations and to protect surrounding homes,” Brick Lewis, a Columbia Fire Department spokesman, said.
The fire is currently under control, and there are no injuries at this time, Lewis said.
