LEXINGTON 1 has named Albert H. Robertson its District Teacher of the Year. Robertson is a sixth grade social studies teacher at Meadow Glen Middle School.
LEXINGTON-RICHLAND 5 has named three finalists for 2014-2015 Support Employee of the Year: Jennifer Dollar, social worker at Harbison West Elementary School; Perrene Henry, special education assistant at Dutch Fork High School; and Darlene Montes, special education assistant at Chapin Elementary School.

KERSHAW COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE Lt. Brad Lawson has been recognized by the National Interdiction Conference for his efforts in drug interdiction on I-20 in Kershaw County. He received the award for largest crack cocaine seizure on an interstate highway.
ARMY PFC. CHARVEZS D. DENNY has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Cathy Harris and stepson of Jay Harris, both of Lexington.
ARMY NATIONAL GUARD PVT. KYMBERLIE S. HALL has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson. She is the daughter of Alison Hathcock of Gaston and Mike Hall of Lexington.
