Midlands Gives: Nearly 5,200 donations, more than $700,000

More than $700,000 was raised for local nonprofits on Tuesday as part of a Midlands Gives effort sponsored by the Central Carolina Community Foundation.
The 24-hour give-a-thon brought in nearly 5,200 donations totaling $704,932.23, according to the CCCF.
Here are the organizations that received the most funds through the program, which was dubbed "Magnify the Midlands."
