City of West Columbia lifts more boil water advisories for some Lexington customers

The City of West Columbia has lifted the boil water advisory issued Monday for some water customers in a West Columbia area near S.C. 6 and U.S. 378.

Customers in the Midway Farms Subdivision located on Oliver Metts Road are still under a boil water advisory.

Customers who are no longer under a boil water advisory include those on both sides of North Lake Drive, or S.C. 6, from the Whiteford subdivision to Andrew Corley Road, those who live on Andrew Corley Road to Midway Road and those who live on Midway Road to Hope Ferry Road – including residents in the Kenwood subdivision.

Residents in the Whiteford subdivision were not affected.

The City of West Columbia lifted a boil water advisory Tuesday for customers on Old Two Notch Road to Kitty Wake Drive, all addresses on Kitty Wake Drive to Laurel Road, all addresses on Laurel Road to Orchard Hills Drive, all addresses on Orchard Hills Drive and all customers encompassed between the above four roads.
