SCHOOLS

O’TASHA MORGAN has been appointed lead guidance counselor for Richland 2. She served most recently as guidance director at E.L. Wright Middle School.

MILITARY

U.S. NATIONAL GUARD AIRMAN 1ST CLASS BRITTANY A. MCDANIEL has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. She is the daughter of Tina and John McDaniel of Pelion.

AIR FORCE AIRMAN 1ST CLASS ZACKERY J. HASTY has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. He is the son of Linda and Jimmy Hasty of Hopkins.

AIR FORCE AIRMAN 1ST CLASS ANDREW L. CARROLL has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. He is the son of Jeff and Melody Carroll of Gaston.

COMMUNITY

LEXINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT has promoted David Day, of Ward, to sergeant in the Professional Standards Division. Day previously served as an investigator in the Crime Scene Investigation unit. The department also promoted Patrick Hanko, of Lexington, to master deputy in the North Region Patrol District, where he previously served as a road patrol deputy.
