Pineview Road opened back up to all traffic around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Brick Lewis, a Columbia Fire Department spokesman.
Drivers should use caution as some emergency personnel are still in area of incident.
Approximately 40 to 50 people and two businesses were evacuated following an accident between a propane truck and another car, Lewis said.
Pineview Road was closed from Garners Ferry Road to Shop Road following the accident, which happened around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday morning, Lewis said.
Another business with about 14 people sheltered in place, according to a tweet from the Fire Department.
The driver of the four-door car was trapped inside the vehicle, Lewis said. They were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the propane truck, which overturned, was not trapped but was taken to the hospital.
Hazardous materials crews were also on the scene.
