A boil water advisory has been repealed for the water customers of the Upper Loop Way in Richland County by the City of Columbia Water Works on Sunday.
Water customers in the area no longer need to boil their water before eating and drinking purposes. Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
