The City of Columbia Water Works has lifted a boil water advisory for customers of the 3400 block of Manor Avenue in Rosewood.
Water customers in an area on Manor Avenue in Rosewood are no longer advised to boil water following a 12-inch water main break, which happened on Monday.
Customers in the 3400 block of Manor Avenue including Montgomery Avenue, Tyler Street, S. Bonham Road and Lanier Avenue were included in the advisory.
Following an intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples indicate the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes, according to the City of Columbia Water Works.
