A free notary public seminar is being offered next month by the S.C. Secretary of State’s Office.
The session, set for Oct. 15, is for current notaries and those interested in becoming notaries.
Seminar topics will include state laws governing notaries, notary responsibility and liability, and penalties. Attendance is not necessary to become a notary public in South Carolina.
