Lexington County elections officials rejected challenges Friday from two candidates who lost in Batesburg-Leesville elections Nov. 3.
The pair, Steve Cain and Pansy Buzhardt,complained of problems they said could have affected the outcome.
But the commission found the ballot was run according to procedure, county elections director Dean Crepes said.
"We had everything squared away," he said.
The commission also rejected Cain's claim other candidates used defective nominating petitions.
Incumbent James Wiszowaty beat Cain in the mayoral race while incumbent Mark DeLoach defeated Buzhardt for a council post.
