Columbia officials plan to begin construction next summer on a $6 million streetscaping project on Harden Street, using a combination of federal transportation and stimulus dollars.
The project will install turning lanes, trees and sidewalks along one of the city's busiest thoroughfares.
The project is the second of a three-part, $35 million project to revamp Harden Street. The first part, improvements to Five Points, has been completed.
