Irmo police on Monday announced the arrest of a suspect in a “Peeping Tom” case.
Tory Lamar Holloway, 25, of Irmo, was charged with being a Peeping Tom and transported to the Alvin S. Glenn detention center to await a bond hearing.
Irmo police had been searching for someone who had been looking into a residence in the New Friarsgate neighborhood.
The incident happened about 5:15 a.m., when a woman called police to report a break-in.
Responding officers found Holloway in the area. He was dressed all in black and had a digital camera in his possession, police said.
Outside of the victim’s house, a garbage can and recycling bin had been moved, apparently to assist someone in looking in the windows, police said.
Irmo Police continue to investigate this case.
