Two thieves made a big withdrawal from an ATM in Lexington by pulling the machine itself from its foundation in a bank parking lot.

Lexington police say a machine at the First National Bank of the South at 5075 South Boulevard was removed with a forklift stolen from a nearby construction site. The theft was discovered when alarms went off at 5:13 a.m. Sunday.

Police are studying video surveillance cameras, which show two men loading the ATM in the cab of a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck that was reported stolen from Lauren Ridge Apartments.
