Command Sgt. Maj. John Fourhman, Third Army’s senior enlisted adviser, has retired after more than 36 years of military service.
Command Sgt. Maj. Stephan Frennier assumed responsibility in a ceremony Friday in front of Patton Hall.
Third Army commander Lt. Gen. Vincent Brooks praised Fourham for his contributions.
“Our nation has been served exceedingly well by this noncommissioned officer,” he said.
Frennier has held many positions in the Army during his 31 years of service, including command sergeant major of the United States Army Recruiting Command. Prior to arriving at Third Army he served as the command sergeant major for the United States Forces-Iraq deputy commanding general (advising and taining) in Baghdad.
