An altercation between the occupants of two vehicles led to shots being fired in the Five Points area in the early morning hours today.
The incident took place just before 1 a.m. in the 900 block of Harden Street, which is anchored by the Chick-fil-A restaurant.
According to Columbia police officials, witnesses reported seeing the occupants of either a gray or silver Dodge Charger engage in a verbal altercation with the occupants of another vehicle. Several shots were fired from the Charger that struck the other vehicle, witnesses said. No one was injured.
