Columbia Police are seeking a 19-year-old in the shooting of a 14-year-old outside an apartment near Beltline Boulevard and Rosewood Drive last week.
Investigators are looking for Tore’ Michael Dove, 19, on charges of attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Dove is accused of shooting a 14-year-old boy Jan. 17 outside of the Capri Apartments, at 4425 East Chapel Road.
The teenager was shot in the lower body area. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Investigators do not believe the shooting was random but still are seeking a motive.
A 16-year-old, whose name is not being released due to his age, has already been arrested in the case and charged with attempted murder and armed robbery.
Police Chief Randy Scott urges residents to contact Crimestoppers tip they have seen Dove or know his whereabouts. Tips are anonymous and could bring up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. The tollfree number is 888-CRIME-SC.
