Fort Jackson commemorated the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with a wreath-laying ceremony in front of post headquarters.

The ceremony included an overview of the events of 9/11, a missing persons display, a moment of silence and a 21-gun salute.

The speaker was the post commander Brig. Gen. Bradley Becker.
